Privacy Policy

EyeZo is a self-hosted video app. It plays the video files already on a server you run, over your own network. There are no accounts and no cloud, so there is very little to say here — which is exactly the point.
The short version
EyeZo does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. The app talks only to the server you point it at. Nothing is sent to us, and we operate no servers that receive your data.
What EyeZo does not do
- No accounts or logins. EyeZo never asks you to sign up or provide an email, name, or password.
- No cloud. Your videos stay on the server you run. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
- No tracking or analytics. EyeZo contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no usage tracking.
- No data sharing. Because no personal data is collected, none is ever sold or shared.
What stays on your device
To work, the app stores a small amount of information locally on your device, such as the network address of the server you connect to and basic app preferences. This information remains on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed when you delete the app.
Connecting to your server
When you use EyeZo, the app communicates directly with the server you configure — typically a machine on your own home network. Your video library, browsing, and playback all happen between your device and that server. EyeZo is not involved in or able to see any of this activity.
Third-party services
EyeZo does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services. If you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information related to your download and use of the app under Apple's Privacy Policy. That collection is governed by Apple, not by EyeZo.
Children's privacy
EyeZo does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
